About the Feldenkrais Method®
Engage Your Curiosity
Movement is expressive. It is a reflection of "who" and "how" we are in any given moment. Our strategies for meeting the moment, coping with "what is" and finding our equilibrium are reflected in how we breathe, how we hold our chest and shoulders, how we tune in or tune out the bodily sensations that we define as stress, tension or pain.

Resilience is key. Developing the capacity to move more fluidly between states of stress and relaxation is one of our greatest tools for preventing illness or injury. A resilient human being is often a happy, thriving human being.

The Feldenkrais Method is internationally recognized as an effective means of addressing musculo-skeletal or neurological problems, chronic pain and the motor development difficulties of people of all ages. The work is prized by individuals recovering from traumatic injuries or stress caused by overuse. The guided inquiry process inherent in the method also provides a fertile ground for learning to cultivate emotional intelligence and resilience.
The Feldenkrais Method was developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984) in the 1940s and is now practiced worldwide.
